First released in 1987 and designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the Air Safari was years ahead of its time. The unusual design, featuring ostrich leather uppers, became a slow-burning cult hit, thanks in part to its association with hip-hop artist Biz Markie. Updated for 2013 in a series of clean new colourways, it looks as though the world has finally caught up with this brilliant pioneering design.
